The Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project (CLYLP)

 
The Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project (CLYLP) is a very prestigious and FREE leadership development institute for 10th and 11th grade students.  CLYLP provides students an opportunity learn about:

*The importance of pursuing Higher Education;

*The responsibility of community involvement;

*The relevance and impact of exposing youth to positive, professional role models; and Teaching students to engage in the political process to move forward the Latino Community Agenda

   CLYLP Offers an intense one-week main conference at CSU Sacramento, which will take place on July 16-23.   CLYLP is also offering regional-area, three day sessions in the following geographical communities:

    San Joaquin Valley Institute--June 10-12

    Bay Area Institute--June 24-26

    Los Angeles Institute--August 5-7

Student Applications are DUE on March 23rd!!!

If selected, students will receive the following;

*Free room and board
