  • Our Vision

  • The AAPC consists of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members; its role is to provide support to African American students and families in order to close the academic achievement gap. The AAPC also discusses and makes informed recommendations to the School Site Council (SSC) on the needs of African American students and families.

  • Our Mission

  • To honor and embrace the identity and experiences of the Pasadena Unified School District’s African American families; advocate for the cultural acceptance of all, and mobilize and engage all partners to transform the system to ensure a high quality education for every student.
