Who can apply?

• High school seniors enrolled and graduating or the equivalent from a school in the State of California for the 2022-2023 academic year
  • Provide written proof of acceptance at an accredited institution of higher learning for fall or winter 2022
  • In good academic standing

 

To be eligible for selection, candidates must:

• Complete the online CLBCPI Scholarship application form below
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Submit a personal statement essay
  • What is the value of education to you?
  • 750 words or less
• Two signed letters of recommendation (no exceptions)
  • Dated within the last 90 days
  • One from a community member not related to you
  • One from a school representative
• Copy of most recent transcript
  • Dated within the last 90 days
  • Must show classes currently enrolled in (2^nd Semester or Spring 2022)
• Proof of high school diploma from a school in the State of California (college students only)
• Recent photo of the applicant
• The deadline to submit the scholarship application is Midnight PST, Friday, May 13, 2022
