PEN will once again offer our Rodney E. Goodwin Memorial Scholarship to a PUSD senior who will attend a 4 year college in the Fall 2022.  Please pass on the information and link to your counselors, teachers, and any students who might be eligible.  Or let me know if there is anyone else who I should contact.  Here is the information:

This year, PEN will award the $1,000 scholarship to one PUSD Senior who:

• Is the first in his or her family to go to college or is a first generation college student
• Has a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Is eligible for free or reduced lunch
• Is committed to enroll as a full time student in a 4-year college or university during the upcoming academic year

Requirements:

• Submit the Rodney E. Goodwin Memorial Scholarship Application and all supplemental materials
• Submit a personal statement of student’s choice (may be the Common Application or a UC PIQ)
• High school transcript (doesn’t need to be an official sealed transcript)
• Eligibility of free or reduced lunch will be verified

Applications must be completed and received by email or post no later than May 9, 2022.  Students CANNOT drop off applications at PEN’s mailing address.  Students can submit their applications to their CAP counselor by May 6.
