FIRST DISTRICT PTA COMMEMORATIVE SCHOLARSHIP- Extended Due March 16

The First District PTA Commemorative Scholarship Fund was established to commemorate First District PTA volunteers who were long-time, dedicated child advocates and whose tireless efforts contributed greatly to the benefit of students, parents, and schools within the geographic area of First District PTA. the 1st st District PTA is made up of all the school districts in the San Gabriel area.

Commemorative scholarships in the amount of $750 each are awarded to acknowledge graduating high school students who have achievements, service and involvement in the following areas:

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

WORK EXPERIENCE

EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES

First  District  PTA  encourages  applications  reflective  of  students  who  have: • a  strong  record  of  community  service,  school  activities,  or  other  extra-curricular  leadership  roles • held  an  after  school,  part-time,  or  summer  job • managed  extra  home  responsibilities • displayed  good  citizenship  in  a  positive  manner • worked  diligently  and  to  the  best  of  their  academic  abilities • a  minimum  GPA  of  2.0
