Voices from Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Leaders: A Pasadena Community Forum
On September 25, in collaboration with leaders from the City of Pasadena and the Lucille & Edward Roybal Foundation, PUSD co-hosted a socially-distanced dialogue with students to hear their voices about our local history, our present challenges, and our collective future.
“One of the roles of education is to foster civic engagement,” said Superintendent Brian McDonald. “I’m so glad that students are here so that we can listen to what they have to say. We’re sending students a message that this is a community of conscience that values student input, that values student ideas, that values the important roles that students have, and that recognizes they are indeed our future.”
