CAP College Champions
College Access Plan has piloted a youth leadership opportunity for some of our Pasadena High School seniors.
Last spring, the following 10 Pasadena High School students (now seniors) were selected to be the first cohort of College Champions. Over the summer they participated in 3-week training through the Pasadena Educational Foundation and were certified to be leaders in their community.
Throughout their senior year, they will serve as peer mentors during CAP drop-in and support their peers with the college application process.
Upon completion of the program, the College Champions will each be receiving a $500 stipend. The students are:
- Ana Jochola
- Andrea Ibarra
- Angela Contreras
- Genesis Torres
- Guadalupe Hernandez Morales
- Erick Sanchez
- Ethan Pham
- Katelyn Gomez
- Makenna Morrisey
- Selena Ruiz Garcia
Congratulations to these Bulldog students. We are so very proud of you!
