Hollywood Burbank Airport Banner Contest Winners

Hollywood Burbank Airport Banner Contest

This is the twelfth year the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has sponsored this contest for 9th - 12th grade students in the Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena school districts.  This year’s contest theme was “Heroes of Aviation”.  Every year a different aviation theme is chosen by the Airport Authority.

The 1st place winning artwork from each school district is enlarged to a 16 'by 26' banner which is displayed on the Hollywood Burbank Airport terminal tower for approximately three months. The banners will be seen by nearly a million travelers and Airport visitors as they arrive and depart.

Congratulations to this year’s Hollywood Burbank Airport tower banner contest winners from Pasadena.  All three winners are from Pasadena High School and are a part of our Visual Arts and Design Academy (VADA).
