PTSA Service Award Winners
At the Association Meeting, the PTSA honored five members of our community for their service to Blair.
Outstanding Teacher Award - Veronica Yepez
Veronica Yepez was honored for her work both as one of our International Academy teachers and Cross Country coaches, but also for her work encouraging and supporting students in the Students Run LA program.
Very Special Person Award - Mary Ann Kelly
Mary Ann Kelly was honored for her many years of volunteering at Blair, including work with the Middle School Advisory and on the E-blast.
Very Special Person Award- Emily Mencken
Emily Mencken was honored for her many years of volunteering at Blair, including advocating for our Spanish DLIP program and supporting and leading our school tours.
Honorary Service Award - Kathleen Ting
Kathleen Ting was honored for her many years of volunteering at Blair, including planning and supporting Viking Days over the years, organizing Grade Level Parent Meetings, and maintaining the Blair website.
Honorary Service Award - Norah Small
Norah Small was honored for her many years of volunteering at Blair, including her work with the Middle School Advisory, the Blair Design Team, helping to publicize the IB program throughout the district, and supporting the IBMYP Personal Project Showcase.
