Blair BSU Celebrates MLK Day with #HashtagLunchbag

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"
- Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

For the fourth year in a row,  30 student volunteers from the Blair family, Pasadena High School and Northview High School joined with other volunteers from Pasadena and cities in the San Gabriel Valley to decorate bags, write inspirational notes, make sandwiches, and assemble and distribute lunch bags on MLK Day. Their goal was to make 300 sack lunches and they made it!
A big thank you to Blair Admin, Ms. Tonia, Ms. Kelly and staff for making the cafeteria available. It was a rewarding experience for all who participated and they were able to bring a smile to the faces of many people who are currently experiencing homelessness.
