Priority Registration for Siblings, IB, DLIP
DLIP 5th graders, Willard 5th graders and siblings (6th-11th) of current Blair students have priority to enroll at Blair, but only during a limited window. For the 2021-2022 school year, the window to take advantage of this special status is Oct. 26 to Nov. 13.
Those who live in Blair's attendance zone may also begin registering on Oct. 26. If Blair is one's assigned neighborhood school, do not procrastinate on registering.
Blair has been growing in enrollment as more people discover Blair, and space is limited.
Students from the IB (International Baccalaureate) Primary Years Programme at Willard Elementary have preference to attend Blair for our IB programs. Dual Language Immersion Program (DLIP) students have preference to continue their learning in Blair's middle school and high school DLIP. Brothers and sisters also get preference to attend Blair alongside their siblings. The window to exercise this preference is
Students who live in Blair's attendance zone DO NOT need Open Enrollment permits, and though there is no deadline for neighborhood students to register at the school, having a count of enrolled neighborhood students helps in deciding the number of Open Enrollment permits and the planning of classes.
Current Blair students already attending through an Open Enrollment permit DO NOT need to reapply to continue at Blair.
More than 85% of Blair students come from outside our attendance zone. We are a school people intentionally seek out to attend!
