PUSD Athletics proudly announces a new partnership with John Muir High School, Pasadena High School and CATZ Pasadena. This new partnership is an elite training opportunity for high school student athletes, who will focus on strength, conditioning, combine performance and team training opportunities.
This intense training, methodology, and prototype instruction is designed by Travelle Gaines. Gaines is founder of Athletic Gaines and one of the most recognized trainers in professional sports; his program trains hundreds of NFL, NBA and MLB athletes.
"The environment and the attention to detail from the Athletic Gaines staff is one of the reasons why it is the best program in the country," said Danny Amendola of the New England Patriots.
Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics agrees. "While making my transition from College to the NBA, I knew I had to get bigger, faster and stronger, so I turned to Athletic Gaines to help me out in those areas and this is the best my body has ever felt," said Brown.
Pasadena Educational Foundation was instrumental in helping build a bridge of communication with CATZ. Our CATZ liaison is former teacher, Catherine Kelly, with our newly formed relationship we will focus on the fundamental transformation to enhance equity of opportunity to elite training with their amazing staff!
