Out of 6000 potential applicants in the State of California for the Gold Ribbon Awards Program, only several hundred schools actually win.  Out of these award winning schools, Hamilton Elementary schools selected to be honored with the new Gold Ribbon, sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE).
