2023-2024 Neighborhood School Enrollment
Families who are new to PUSD may enroll children in their neighborhood school on an ongoing basis. Please contact your neighborhood school's registrar for more information. For other school options, families may contact the Office of Enrollment at (626)396-3639.
Registration (Pre-enrollment) for the 2024-2025 school year begins December 4, 2023.
Families may pre-enroll* if they are:

New to PUSD; and
-
Attending their neighborhood school's general program OR accepting a valid school lottery offer for another school/program (to submit a lottery application, please visit pusd.schoolmint.com); and

Age-eligible: Kindergarten students must turn 5 by September 1, 2024. TK students must turn 5 between September 2, 2024 - June 2, 2025.
*Families will need to create a new account. This account is separate from the Aeries Parent Portal or Lottery System accounts.
To register in person at your school site, please call your school site registrar to make an appointment. During summer months, please contact the Office of Enrollment at (626)396-3639 to make an appointment.
Continuing or Returning PUSD Students
Online registration/pre-enrollment is no longer required for students who have previously been enrolled in PUSD (continuing or returning).
- Continuing PUSD students' information will automatically roll to the next school based on your assigned neighborhood school (or lottery-offered school). Parents/guardians must create or log in to their existing Parent Portal account at the start of each school year to complete “Data Confirmation.” If you need assistance creating a Parent Portal account, please contact your School Community Assistant or school office staff.
- Students returning to PUSD after attending a non-PUSD school should contact their neighborhood school's registrar to provide any updated required documents, or parents/guardians may submit a school lottery application (during valid dates) and provide updated required documents to their lottery-offered school.

Government-issued ID with photo
Military ID card
Passport
Bank or employee ID card with photo
Verification of Address (choose 1; must be dated within 60 days of submission and show the name and address of the parent/guardian)
Property tax bill/receipt
Current rental/lease agreement
Utility service (gas, electric, water) contract, statement, or receipt
Correspondence from a government agency
Monthly mortgage statement or escrow document
Verification of Student’s Date of Birth (choose 1)
Birth certificate
Hospital record of birth
Passport
Adoption papers
Baptismal certificate
Student’s Immunization Record (updated with state-required immunizations).
Health Forms (Submit to the school’s nurse/health clerk once complete)
TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire (all new students)
Health History Form (all students, updated annually)
Oral Health Assessment Form Oral Health Assessment Form (Spanish) (Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten only for school entry)
Report of Health Examination for School Entry (Kindergarten/1st Grade only for school entry)

Legal Documents – Foster placement, court documents, and/or restraining orders
Permits to attend a school other than the student’s neighborhood school- School lottery offer, intradistrict permit, and/or interdistrict permit
Transcripts or most recent report card for students previously enrolled in grades TK-12 in a non-PUSD school
