  • Frequently Asked Questions About Our Weekly "E-Blast" Newsletter

    What is the E-Blast?
One of our most successful forms of communication at Blair is a newsletter sent out by email each week. The school, and groups within the school, may send occasional group emails, but the "weekly e-blast" refers to the official Blair PTSA-produced e-blast. This e-blast newsletter brings together timely information for the entire Blair community.

    Who can get the E-Blast?
Anyone interested in learning about Blair is welcome to receive the E-Blast.  Blair parents and students find the E-Blast indispensable to keep up with the many happenings at school. Prospective Blair families, alumni, Blair neighbors and the community at large find the E-Blast a great window to view accomplishments and endeavors at Blair.

How do I sign up for the E-Blast?
If you are a Blair parent and provided your email address at Viking Days registration at the start of the school year, you should already be receiving the E-Blast; or you may use the link to the email sending company, Constant Contact. The Weekly E-Blast has always been a labor of love by parent volunteers. Thank you so much to Norah Small (Blair parent since 2012)!

Sometimes emails in addition to the Weekly E-Blast provide last-minute updates or alerts.
Additional information such as your student(s) grade in school or a prospective student's current school helps emails reach the targeted group.

    When would I get it?
The Weekly E-Blast arrives in email inboxes each Sunday, giving readers a heads-up on the coming
week at school. Your inbox will show an email from Blair PTSA called "Blair HS and MS Weekly E-Blast." The PTSA uses a company called Constant Contact to send out the group emails; you may need to check your settings to make sure you are receiving the emails (from auth.ccsend.com) properly.

    What info would I get?
Besides news and announcements, the E-Blast details events for the week, upcoming meetings, the latest on fundraisers at school, volunteer opportunities and quick links to get further information, such
    as on the Blair website.

    How can I get unsubscribed?
You may remove yourself from the mailing list at any time by using the "unsubscribe" option at the very bottom of the E-Blast.

How do I get my event in the E-Blast?
To speed up information getting to our E-Blast editor Norah Small, email to Ms. Small at blair-eblast@stonehillnews.com. We welcome other schools and community groups to share about their upcoming events of benefit to Blair students, as space allows.
