What is Blair High School?
Serving students in 6th through 12th grade, Blair is also known as Blair High and Middle School. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Middle Years Programme for all students in grades 6-10 and the Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. We also offer the Health Careers Academy, International Academy (formerly Newcomers Center), Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy and Army JROTC.
Blair strives to create an environment where a shared commitment to learning (by staff, students, parents and community), cooperation, tolerance and self-discipline will enable our students to become lifelong learners and responsible participants and contributors in our culturally diverse, democratic society.
Where is Blair located?
Right at the end of the Pasadena Freeway, between Arroyo Parkway and Marengo, just south of Glenarm Street, as shown on the following map.
The Blair campus includes
- the "A" Building, currently closed for modernization
- the "C" Building, primarily for middle school,
- Blair East, the former Allendale Elementary campus
- the amphitheatre,
- the gymnasium
- Athletic facilities (extending south along Marengo Avenue)
For the security of our students and staff, ALL visitors, including current parents, MUST first sign in at either the Main Office or at the "C" Building's Middle School Office.
During renovation of the "A" Building, the Main Office, Student Center and Library are located at Blair East, along with most high school classrooms.

The Middle School Office is best reached from the middle school parking lot, which has entrances from both Allendale Road and Marengo Avenue. The counselors, Registrar and Attendance Office are located in the Student Center on Blair East.
