• What is Blair High School?

Because Blair serves students in 6th through 12th grade, some people unofficially call us "Blair High and Middle School." We are an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Middle Years Programme for all students in grades 6-10 and the Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. Our Health Careers Academy is the oldest academy in the school district, and offers the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme. Blair also has the district's International Academy (formerly Newcomers Center), middle school and high school Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program and Army JROTC. (Learn more about International Baccalaureate, "IB," here.)

Blair strives to create an environment where a shared commitment to learning (by staff, students, parents and community), cooperation, tolerance and self-discipline will enable our students to become lifelong learners and responsible participants and contributors in our culturally diverse, democratic society.

    Where is Blair located?

Right at the end of the Pasadena Freeway, between Arroyo Parkway and Marengo Avenue, just south of Glenarm Street.

    The Blair campus includes

    • the "A" Building
    • the "C" Building, primarily for middle school
    • the amphitheatre,
    • the gymnasium
    • athletic facilities extending south along Marengo Avenue

For the security of our students and staff, ALL visitors, including current parents, MUST first sign in at the Main Office at 1201 S. Marengo Ave.

The administrative area of the A Building, including the Main Office reception area, is now conveniently located just off the Blair parking lot, at the school main entrance.

During the remodel of Building A, many classrooms and school offices were temporarily located on the Allendale Elementary campus, known as "BlairEast." All of these have now returned to the A Building. If you haven't seen Blair lately, come for a tour of the modernized A Building, especially the expanded library and the Band Room/Music Lab.
