Board of Education
Voters elect seven Board of Education members by geographic area to serve four-year terms. The duties of the Board include adopting the annual budget, approving all expenditures, establishing district policy, authorizing employment of personnel, approving textbooks and courses of study, and approving new and innovative academic initiatives.

Generally, meetings are held in the Elbie J. Hickambottom Board Room (Room 236) at the PUSD Education Center (351 South Hudson Avenue, Pasadena)
Regular board meetings are broadcast live on KLRN-TV, Charter Cable Channel 95, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Meetings are also streamed live and on-demand on the internet. Rebroadcasts are aired Mondays & Wednesdays at midnight, Tuesdays at noon, Thursdays at 6 pm, and Fridays at midnight & 11 am.
