My name is Lucia Garcia and I have been teaching at Hamilton Elementary School for the last 15 years. I taught at Willard Elementary before coming here. Most of those years I have been teaching kindergarten. Before working for Pasadena Unified School District, I was working for Los Angeles Unified School District.

Currently, I live in the city of Monrovia but I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. When I moved to this country I was living in Los Angeles, in the West Hollywood neighborhood. Then I got married and moved to the city of North Hollywood, and later, to Pasadena. My husband and I have three handsome boys.

I attended California State University Dominguez Hills  and did my post graduate classes at UCLA and Cal State LA. During my free time I love to read, play the guitar and be in touch with family and friends, and ex-students.
