Admissions Information and Procedure

  • Welcome to Daniel Webster Elementary School

Every child in Pasadena is guaranteed placement in their neighborhood school. We welcome families from the surrounding area to visit us on a tour or participate in one of our fun on-campus activities, such as the Fall Festival or the Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast and Boutique. If you're one of our neighbors, we hope to meet you soon and welcome you into our wonderful community. Families are encouraged to complete enrollment forms and return them to their neighborhood schools by mid-March.

Enrollment Guidelines

  • If you are registering your child for TK, kindergarten or for the first time in PUSD, you will be required to present the following at the time of registration:

    • Two proofs of residency (e.g. lease or recent gas, electric or water bill in your name)
    • Proof of guardianship (if the child is not living with the parent)
    • Your child’s birth certificate or passport
    • Your child’s most recent immunization & vaccination record
    • Dental exam (kindergarten only)

If Webster is your neighborhood school but you currently have your child enrolled in another PUSD school, you may transfer your child to Webster by registering online. You will need to upload two forms of proof of residency in the form of a recent gas, electric or water bill in your name at the time of registration. Transfers will not be permitted after July 31st.

If your child is currently enrolled at Webster in Kindergarten through 4th grade, it is not necessary to re-enroll him/her annually. However, if your child is currently enrolled in TK at Webster, it WILL be necessary to enroll him/her at the school of residence, or apply through Open Enrollment to remain at Webster.

    Open Enrollment

If you do not live within our neighborhood boundaries, you may participate in the Open Enrollment process. This is PUSD’s school of choice program, which gives families the opportunity to attend schools outside of their immediate neighborhoods.
