Hamilton Annual Fund
In 2010, Hamilton started its Annual Fund. We did so knowing that private funding for our computer lab would be depleted. As other schools had to do away with their extra programs due to budget cuts, Hamilton was able to keep theirs thanks to parents and community members that have donated over $150,000. A significant portion of the money raised will be used during the 2014-2015 school year to pay for the Computer Lab Teacher, the Librarian, and a continuing partnership with the Armory to provide art instruction. The Computer Lab position alone allows Hamilton Teachers an extra 700 hours to work with students, meet with parents and plan lessons. Moving forward, The Hamilton Annual Fund will continue to partner with the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF), as we raise the necessary funds to keep these and other programs that strengthen academic achievement and enrichment programs at Hamilton.
We are asking everyone who can to give $10 per week or $520 a year - this is less than even one month at the least expensive local private school - just $44 a month. If you can’t give that much, please give what you can. For example, $250 a year is just $21 a month or $120 a year is $10 a month. If you can’t give money than we ask that you give time to the fundraising efforts. Donations are tax deductible.
