He has a B.A. in art from the University of New Mexico, an M.A. In TESOL from Cal State LA, and an M.F.A. in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute.

When Mr.Moya is not teaching, he can be found working on his paintings, or traveling the world (he has been to close to 40 countries and has taught abroad in Mexico and Korea). He enjoys all the arts and is very excited that Eliot is now an arts magnet.
