Janet has been teaching at Eliot Arts Magnet since 2000. She received her A.A. from Pasadena City College, B.A. in television, radio and film from CSULA and M.A. in special education from CSULA.

This is year 19 for me as a teacher at Eliot Arts. I'm an Eliot alumni as are my uncles, aunt and my sister. I played clarient in the Husky band and chose to teach here to give back what I received. I grew up in Altadena; attending Jefferson, Edison, and Eliot then John Muir.
