Mr. Bryant Duffy

Bryant joined PUSD in 1989 as Director of Instrumental Music at Washington Middle School and has been at Eliot Arts Magnet (his Alma Mater!) for the last 20 years teaching history. Mr. Duffy is also Eliot's Stage Manager.

Mr. Duffy attended UCLA where he received his B.A. in social studies and Cal State University Los Angeles graduating with a master's degree in educational administration.

A native Pasadenan, Mr. Duffy is a freelance bass trombonist having performed in symphonies, jazz bands, musical theater and many other ensembles throughout the Southland. He is a member of the German American Brass Band of Southern California and a past charter member of the Golden State British Brass Band. When not making music, Mr. Duffy enjoys photography, antiques and maintaining the Eliot Middle School Press where students can print on vintage platen printing presses.
