Announcements

  • UCLA EAOP is available to assist seniors with college applications and financial aid applications.  They can also meet with 9th-11th graders to create and monitor college academic plans.  They also conduct workshops for parents and caregivers so that they also have relevant college prep information to assist their students.  For more information, contact Brittany Lewis-Porchia at blewis@eaop.ucla.edu.

  • Cal-SOAP LA is a program that focuses on helping students aim for success after high school; whether that is by helping them with their college applications or by helping them with their resume.  The program is free and has no limitations who they can assist (citizenship status & GPA).  They offer digital workshops for 9-12th graders, online tutoring, and webinars on the college application process.  Additionally, they happily welcome any students who are part of Upward Bound or Trio;  participation in our program does not affect a student's participation in other programs.  To apply click here

  • Upward Bound - For 9th-12th Grade Students
    As a PCC TRIO program, Upward Bound is a federally funded college preparatory program that motivates and supports high school students from first generation and low income backgrounds complete high school, graduate from college, and obtain a career in their chosen field.  UB is open to 9th-12th graders who are US citizens or permanent residents.  If you would like more information, fill out this form.  You can download, complete and send in this digital application.  Questions?  Contact Robert Gordon, the Upward Bound Educational Advisor, at rgordon@pasadena.edu

  • CAP is a free program that offers college exploration and counseling to all high school students. For middle school students, in the past CAP has offered classes. CAP also helps students as they complete their college applications and explore financial aid options, and with SAT classes. This year their services are all being offered virtually.
