Metro GoPass TAP Card Program

The GoPass Metro TAP Card Program provides free transit rides for K-12 students from participating school districts.

PUSD aims to provide students with opportunities to explore and learn, both inside the classroom and in the world around them. Students can use their GoPass TAP cards to travel between home and school, on weekends, during vacations, whenever, wherever - for free! 

All Pasadena Unified School District students can receive a Metro GoPass TAP card. Please contact your school's main office and ask for one.

Be Aware Stay alert and avoid distractions, such as your phone. Keep an eye on your belongings and watch out for your fellow riders.

Choose Safe Spots When traveling, stand or sit in well-lit areas near other passengers. Know the location of emergency intercoms on trains, platforms, and entrances.

Report Issues If you notice anything suspicious, report it using the TransitWatch app or call 888.950.SAFE. For emergencies, dial 911.

With an active GoPass TAP card, you can enjoy unlimited free rides on Metro bus and rail, AVTA, City of Commerce Transit, Culver CityBus, Foothill Transit, Glendale Beeline, GTrans, LADOT Dash, La County Shuttles, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus, Norwalk Transit, Pasadena Transit, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus and Torrance Transit.

Your GoPass is valid on local services (not Commuter Express services).

If your card is lost or stolen, contact your school administration for a replacement, and then visit taptogo.net/gopass to activate your new card.
