November 29, 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), a significant milestone in our field as we honor five decades of progress in supporting students with disabilities. We celebrate opportunity and inclusion!

The Pasadena Unified School District is committed to the educational success of all students. The Special Education Department provides services and supports for students with disabilities who are enrolled in our Early Start (infant) program through school age and beyond, such as within our Adult Transition and Workability programs.
