Roofing Replacement Project: Most of the campus roofs have passed their useful life and are in need of being replaced. As part of the districtwide Reroofing Program approved by the Board of Education, the roofs at buildings A, B, C, G, and H will be replaced over the summer of 2023. The school board awarded contracts to Western States Roofing Inc. and to Best Contracting Services, Inc.
Construction: Summer of 2023
Project Budget: $787,755.10
Restroom Renovations: Both the upstairs and downstairs girls and boys restrooms were renovated to include new wall and floor tiling, plumbing fixtures, and partitions.
Additional Measure O facilities improvements included:
- asphalt repairs
- reconditioning of the track
- goal post renovation
- the replacement of chain link fencing
- replacement of water and electrical utility infrastructure
- Renovation of Upper Field's backstop
Ongoing: The fields at Eliot Arts are being maintained with daily irrigation, mowing, and fertilization to restore lush grass.
