Roofing Replacement Project: Most of the campus roofs have passed their useful life and are in need of being replaced. As part of the Districtwide Reroofing Program approved by the Board of Education, the roofs at buildings A, B, C, G, and H will be replaced over the summer of 2023. The school board awarded contracts to Western States Roofing Inc. and to Best Contracting Services, Inc.

Budget: $787,755.10
Measure O facility improvements at SME also included:
- asphalt repairs
- school field leveling
- grass restoration
- new electrical vault chiller
Upcoming: Additional improvements at SME will include restroom renovations and the replacement of water and electrical utility infrastructure.
