Pasadena Unified School District and Expanded Learning Programs offers safe, nurturing, and innovative learning opportunities where all PUSD students can:
- Expand their learning
- Create new relationships
- Enjoy new experiences
- Develop life skills
Before and after-school programs operate every regular school day. The before-school program hours vary at each school, but begin at least 1.5 hours before the school day begins. Afternoon programs begin at dismissal from the regular school day until at least 6 p.m.
During the summer, Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO-P) are offered to PUSD students in grades K-8 and grades 9-12 at John Muir High School. Summer programs operate from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
