Dual Language Immersion Preschool
Students who enroll in PUSD's Dual Immersion Preschool Programs will learn Spanish or Mandarin through a research-based curriculum that prepares them for the TK-12th grade.
Caring, high-quality teachers instruct the students 100% in Spanish or Mandarin throughout their participation in the program. Educational Assistants are available to assist the students in English.
Spanish Dual Language Immersion Preschool Program
School Sites and Classroom Hours:
Webster Dual Language Children's Center
- Full Day Spanish Immersion Class hours from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
San Rafael Elementary Preschool offers two sessions:
- Morning session operates Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-10:45 am.
- Afternoon session operates Monday-Friday from 11:45 am-2:45 pm.
Jefferson Elementary Preschool offers two sessions:
- Morning session operates Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.
- Afternoon session operates Monday-Friday from 12:00 am-3:00 pm.
Jefferson Children's Center:
- Full Day Spanish Immersion Class 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Program complies with the State-required components of:
- Assessment of the Child and their Environment (DRDP’s and CLASS)
- Parent/Guardian monthly meetings and educational workshops
- Staff Development

2 Full Day Classrooms Available
- 2024 - 2025 School year Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 3:10 pm
- 2024 - 2025 Extended Care Available from 3:10 pm - 5:45 pm for an additional fee.
2024 - 2025 Field Full Day Preschool Tuition
- $1375 a month
- After School Extended Care $365 a month
- Annual Registration fee of $50 and annual Field Trip fee of $25
