Fall 2019 Reclassification of English Learners

Reflecting the CDE Dataquest’s rules for computing reclassification rate, the following report defines annual reclassification rate as follows: The number of ELs reclassified fluent-English-proficient (RFEP) between prior fall census day and current fall census day divided by English Learner Count from prior fall. The source of the numerator, the prior fall’s count of English Learners, is CALPADS 1.21 and the source of the numerator, the count of ELs reclassified since the prior fall, is CALPADS 2.122 .
