Part Time/Hourly Employees
Part-Time or Hourly Employee Plan
Employees that are part-time, hourly, or below 75% FTE, are offered a medical plan through Blue Shield. This plan is a 2-Tier PPO plan, employee only or employee + children. PUSD does not contribute towards this plan, it is at full cost to the employee.
Those eligible can enroll during open enrollment, or within 30 days of a qualifying life event. Below is a summary of the plan. If you wish to enroll please download and complete the Blue Shield enrollment form.
The monthly 2024-2025 plan rates are as follows on a 12 month payment:
Tier 1 - employee only $567.00
Tier 2 - employee + children $1,113.00
PUSD does not currently offer Dental or Vision insurance for employees that are part-time, hourly, or below 75% FTE. For additional information please contact the Benefits Office at benefits@pusd.us.
