State of Schools 2016
In September of each year, the President of the Board of Education is required, under City Charter, to address the public on the state of the Pasadena Unified School District to articulate its goals and objectives for the school year and to report to the people on the progress of the District in achieving its prior goals and objectives, including the financial state of the schools.
Board President Kim Kenne delivered the annual Pasadena Unified School District State of the Schools address on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at McKinley School. The event celebrated the accomplishments of the past year and mapped the future of Pasadena Unified schools, featuring an interactive town hall on technology and parent engagement that invited viewer questions and comments via email, texts, and social media.
