Pasadena Unified School District COVID-19 Dashboard

  • PUSD is committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 cases on its campuses and work locations, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for its students and staff. The Dashboard is continuously being improved and refined. Data will be updated to reflect enrollment changes, and as student and staff COVID-19 cases on school campuses and at PUSD facilities are confirmed.

Covid-19 Procedures

  • Communication Process with Families, Staff, and the Community
In the event there is a positive case, affected individuals will be contacted directly by their school or district staff and they will receive notification that may include self-isolation and/or quarantine directions and other important information. Please note that PUSD will only communicate and provide data for confirmed COVID-19 cases.

    All Cases are Confidential.
Information regarding individuals with COVID-19 symptoms, close contacts with someone who is COVID-19 positive, or individuals who have tested positive for the coronavirus, is sensitive, confidential information. Names will not be released.

    COVID-19 Reporting Instructions for Families
If your child is suspected of having COVID-19, is awaiting test results, or tests positive for COVID-19, please keep your child at home and notify the School Office.

If anyone in your household is suspected of having COVID-19, is awaiting test results, or tests positive for COVID-19, please keep your child at home and notify the School Office.

What Families Can Do to Limit the Spread
It is going to take a concerted effort to keep our students, staff, and families safe. In addition to health and safety measures taken on our campus, we encourage families to be proactive and to reinforce the importance of hand-washing, physical distancing, and face coverings to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Also, if a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting test results, please keep your child at home and notify your school. If your child has any symptoms associated with the COVID-19, make sure they stay home and get tested if necessary.

Keep children home when they are sick. Schools will work with students and families to maintain confidentiality and to help continue your student’s education.

COVID-19 Outbreak Criteria for TK-12 schools:
At least three (3) laboratory-confirmed cases with symptomatic or asymptomatic COVID-19 within a 14 day period in a group with members who are epidemiologically linked, do not share a household, and are not a close contact with each other outside of the campus. School groups include persons that share a common membership at school (e.g. classroom, extracurricular activity, sports team, club, transportation). If one or more sites within PUSD identifies a COVID-19 outbreak, the district will immediately notify PPHD, and will determine if a site(s) must be temporarily closed to minimize potential exposure to others. If outbreak criteria are not met, PPHD may advise the school to continue with routine required exposure management.
