The Little Mermaid

In the spring of 2020, the cast of The Little Mermaid was working hard to get their show ready to premiere the end of April.  With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the show was delayed, and then canceled.  In 2021, our visionary principal, Dr. Benita Scheckel, had the idea to reimagine the show as a movie filmed in front of a green screen.  Our fearless director, Mr. Jonathan Hoskins, ran with the idea and our amazing students rose to the occasion.  They got to learn about how to record professional audio and film a movie while producing a fantastic version of their show!  It premiered as a drive-in movie on May 21, 2021 and brought an immense amount of joy.  It is available to purchase for $15. 

The Wonderful Wicked Wiz of Oz

In April 2019, the Altadena Arts Magnet students performed "The Wonderful Wicked Wiz of Oz," a fantastic mashup of The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked.  A copy is $10.  

Nutcracker Dreams

In December 2018, the Altadena Arts Magnet students performed "Nutcracker Dreams."  It is available to purchase for $15.
