Students: 
Reminders: please be sure to be on time and in dress code. Also, remember to have cell phones turned off and put away during school hours. Bring your Chromebooks to school, fully charged. Lastly, do your part in keeping our campus clean.

Parents/Guardians: 
PUSD is launching new software called “Gaggle” on all district issued Chromebooks that will detect questionable content. This will ensure the safety of your student as they use their Chromebook for instruction. Based on the type of content that is detected, there will be immediate notification to school officials and/or law enforcement. Please share this information with your student. 

 
Activities/Events this week:  
Hairspray rehearsals on Tues and Thurs. at 2:45 - 4:30 pm, in the auditorium.  
LEO Club meets on Weds. from 2:30 - 3:30, in Room 213
Photo Shop is on Tues. and Thurs, from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, in Room 105 
PCC tutoring program continues every Mon. and Weds., after school, in the library.     
Room 13 Art Activities continue on Tues. and Thurs., 2:30 - 4:30 pm, in Room 106. 
Orchestra Practice continues every Thurs., from 2:30- 3:30 pm, in the band room. 
Jazz Band Practice continues every Weds., from 2:30 -3:30 pm, in the band room.
Ceramics continues every Thurs., from 2:30-4:30 pm, in our Ceramics Studio.
PTSA E-Waste Drive this Saturday, March 9th, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Calaveras Lot
School Tour on Wednesday, March 6th,  from 9:00 - 10:30 am. Tour begins in gallery.  
7th Grade Field Trip to the Rose Bowl this Thursday, March 7th. Students will be receiving permission slips tomorrow.

Reminders/Save the Date: 
On Thursday, March 14th, from 5-7 pm, there will be a movie night fundraiser to support our musical production! Please join us and support our musical.

Congratulations to our students who competed in the PUSD African American History Bee! Way to Go Huskies! Special thanks to Mr. Riley for your hard work preparing our students and for all your support! 
A HUGE thanks to Dr. Peters for organizing an awesome Read-Across-America activity where Ms. Minckler’s class read to students in Ms. Evans and Ms. Greene’s class! Thank you for all you do! 
Congratulations to our students who were selected to participate in the ACSA Region 15 Middle School Collaborative Event!! Way to Go Corita, Mili, Isabella, and Eddie! A very special thanks to Ms. Chaparian, Ms. Schloesser, Ms. Issa, and Ms. Liane for your super hard work preparing our students! A HUGE thanks to Ms. Jennifer Hall Lee and the Middle School Collaborative Committee, Dr. Bailey, Ms. Minckler, Dr. Peters, Ms. Lee, Ms. Aparicio, Ms. Liane, and Ms. Denise for your tremendous work planning and organizing an AMAZING event! Special thanks to the Eliot Custodial Team, Chef Rambo, Shirley Barrett, PUSD Maintenance and Operation Team, and Chief Cayabyab for your assistance in making the event a success! Special thanks as well to Chief Blanco and Board Members Dr. Pomeroy and Ms. Richardson Bailey for your participation and attendance.
