Reminders: please be sure to be on time and in dress code. Also, remember to have cell phones turned off and put away during school hours. Bring your Chromebooks to school, fully charged. Lastly, do your part in keeping our campus clean.
This Thursday, Feb. 28th, PTSA is hosting a restaurant fundraiser night at Rounds Premium Burgers, from 4-9 pm. Rounds is located at 46 N. Lake Ave, in Pasadena. 30% of what you spend goes back to our school. Thank you in advance for your support!
Activities/Events this week:
Hairspray rehearsals on Tues and Thurs. at 2:45 - 4:30 pm, in the auditorium.
LEO Club meets on Weds. from 2:30 - 3:30, in Room 213
Photo Shop is on Tues. and Thurs, from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, in Room 105
PCC tutoring program continues every Mon. and Weds., after school, in the library.
Room 13 After School Art Activities continue on Tues. and Thurs., 2:30 - 4:30 pm, in Room 106.
Orchestra Practice continues every Thurs., from 2:30- 3:30 pm, in the band room.
Jazz Band Practice continues every Weds., from 2:30 -3:30 pm, in the band room.
Ceramics continues every Thurs., from 2:30-4:30 pm, in our Ceramics Studio.
The PUSD African American History Bee takes place at Eliot this Wednesday, at 4 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Reminders/Save the Date:
The ACSA Region #15 Middle School Collaborative Event celebrating Women’s History takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, at 1:00 pm, in our auditorium. Please join us for this very special event highlighting essays and artwork from our PUSD middle schools. Congresswoman Judy Chu will be our keynote speaker! This event is free and open to all. We look forward to seeing you there!
Congratulations to our students who performed in our African American History Assembly! You did an AMAZING job! Way to Go Huskies!! A very special thanks to Ms. Plummer, Ms. Franklin, Ms. Issa, Ms. Klages, Ms. Minckler, and Ms. Lee for planning and coordinating a wonderful performance! Congratulations again to our honoree, Dr. Bailey, for being an inspirational role model!
