Welcome to Open Enrollment

  • We know that you have many choices in selecting the best education for your child and we thank you for making PUSD your first choice. While every child living within PUSD boundaries is assured placement in their neighborhood school, a different campus might offer a specialized program or focus that better meets the interests and needs of the individual student. PUSD's annual winter Open Enrollment process offers families an opportunity to apply to attend a school other than their assigned neighborhood school in the next academic year.

NOW: INTRADISTRICT PERMITS FOR PUSD RESIDENTS AND RELINQUISHING PERMITS

  • PUSD RESIDENTS ONLY (Lottery Participants):

    Lottery Results are available online by logging into your account at https://schoolchoicepusd.com and viewing your dashboard. 
    Email notifications will be sent out as spaces become available from waitlists. Waitlists will be maintained until August 7, 2020.

    Once offer is accepted online on the lottery system, please select here to complete the Online Registration 2020-2021.


    NON-PUSD FAMILIES:

    Non-PUSD Families who applied for Signature Programs, will be contacted via email for any openings approximately in the late May - June timeframe, once all PUSD residents have had an opportunity to register online.


    INTRADISTRICT PERMIT REQUESTS:  June 1, 2020 - August 7, 2020  (PUSD FAMILIES)

    You can submit an Intradistrict request if you are:  New to PUSD or a familiy who did not apply via the lotteries. Placement offers will be

    INTERDISTRICT PERMIT REQUEST TO ENTER PUSD:  April 20, 2020 - August 7, 2020  (OUT-OF-DISTRICT FAMILIES)

    Please complete the Interdistrict Permit Application and Questionnaire.  Please also provide a release from your home district.  Send all documents to District Registrar, at districtregistrar@pusd.us.   The Interdistrict Permit form and questionnaire is available at https://www.pusd.us/Page/8165 (form #9)
