Students:
Students who are going on a the field trip to A Noise Within with Ms. Issa, please be sure to turn in your permission slip on time.
Reminders: be sure to be on time to class and in dress code. Also, cell phones must be turned off and put away during school hours and bring your Chromebooks to school, fully charged.
Parents/Guardians:
There is no school tomorrow, Mon., Feb. 11th, in observance of President Lincoln’s Birthday. School resumes on Tues., Feb. 12th. We wish our families a restful and safe day off.
Our monthly parent meetings have been changed to following times this week:
ELAC - 8:30 am on Friday, February 15th
SSC - 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 14th
AAPC - 4:30 pm on Tuesday February 12th
PTSA - 5:30 pm on Tuesday, February 12th
Activities/Events this week:
Hairspray rehearsals continue every Tues. and Thurs. from 2:45 - 4:30 pm, in the auditorium
PCC tutoring continues every Mon. and Weds., after school, in the library. For more information contact Ms. Koors. koors.carolyn@pusd.us
Room 13 After School Art Activities continue on Tues. and Thurs., 2:30 - 5:00 pm, in Room 106.
Orchestra Practice continues every Thurs., from 2:30- 3:30 pm, in the band room.
Jazz Band Practice continues every Weds., from 2:30 -3:30 pm, in the band room.

This Thurs., Feb. 14th, on Valentine’s Day, our PTSA will be hosting “Eliot After Dark”! Please join us on campus from 6-8 pm for movies, video games, nerf wars, and karaoke! Food will be served and this event is free to students.

Reminders/Save the Date:
The ACSA Region #15 Middle School Collaborative Event celebrating Women’s History takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, at 1:00 pm, in our auditorium. Please mark your calendars for this very special event highlighting essays and artwork from every PUSD middle school. Congresswoman Judy Chu will be our keynote speaker! This event is free and open to all. We look forward to seeing you there!

A HUGE congratulations to our students who received recognitions for academic achievement, excellence in the arts, EL reclassification, excellent citizenship, and perfect attendance! WAY TO GO HUSKIES!! We are SO proud of you!!
Many thanks to all who attended our Mural Tour hosted by our Annual Fund! A very special thanks to Ms. Liane Shih and Annual Fund Chair Ms. Jennifer Hall Lee for planning and organizing the event, and to our very own Ms. Amber Plummer and Mr. Kent Yoshimura for sharing your amazing murals with all.
