    Students:
    Reminders: Please be sure to be on time and in dress code. Also please remember to have cell phones turned off and put away during school hours and bring your Chromebooks to school, fully charged. 
    African American History Day and Math Field Day are coming soon! If you are interested in signing up for either or both events, please see Dr. Peters in Room 123. She will connect you with our team advisors for each event.

    Activities/Events this week:  
    Hairspray Rehearsals are on Tues., Jan. 15th, from 2:45 - 4:00 pm, in the auditorium

    PCC tutoring program continues on Mon. and Weds., for 1 hour, after school, in the library. For more information and registration, please contact Ms. Koors. koors.carolyn@pusd.us  
    Ceramics continues after school on Thursdays, from 2:30 - 4:30 pm, in the Ceramics Room  
    Room 13 After School Art Activities are on Tues. and Thurs., from 2:30 - 4:00 pm, in Room 106. 
    Harmony Orchestra Practice are on Thurs., from 2:30- 3:45 pm, in the band room. 
    Jazz Band Practice are on Weds., from 2:30 -3:30 pm, in the band room.    

    Reminders/Save the Date: 
    Please save the date  for our 2nd Annual Science Night on January 25th, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. This year we have over 40 science and technology organizations participating as well as several PUSD schools showcasing their science and technology programs! Please do not miss this wonderful evening, open to all. 
    Weds.  Feb. 6th, 7pm, at PHS, our Orchestra and Band will be performing in the All District Music Festival
    Sat. Feb. 16th, 10am, our Marching Band will be participating in the Black History Parade

    Congratulations to our students Maylina and Natalie who won the PUSD Dr. Martin Luther King Art Competition! Way to Go Huskies! Special thanks to Mr. Moya for your tremendous work with our students!
    A very special thanks to our partner, Little Kids Rock, and multi-platinum recording artist Mr. Ray Parker Jr., for providing an amazing opportunity for our students! Your visit was super fun and inspirational. Thank you as well for your generous donation of 6 electric guitars to our program! We deeply appreciate all you do. 

    Many thanks to all who attended our “Behind the Scenes” tour - it was a great success! A very special thanks to our teachers, staff, and parents who assisted in making it a wonderful event for all.
