Welcome to Non-Industrial Leaves & Worker's Compensation
-
The Non-Industrial Leaves and Workers' Compensation office is committed to providing employees with excellent customer service in an effective and efficient Return to Work Program that allows the District to safely return employees, who are injured on the job, back to work to complete meaningful bridge assignments. Bridge assignments are temporary work assignments specifically developed for employees who are injured to continue working safely. This provides employees with access to gain additional professional experiences in vital areas of service to our students.
Our priority is the safe return of employees to transitional or regular employment. Additionally, the focus of Workers' Compensation in Human Resources is to ensure that employees injured or rendered ill as a result of their jobs receive full pay, benefits, and if possible, return to gainful employment.
