Twilight Credit Recovery
The Twilight Credit Recovery Program aims to serve students with four major needs: Grade Point Average Recovery, High School Diploma, Career Explorations Opportunities Pathways/Fulfilling Criteria to Return to the Comprehensive High School, and General Education Program. The Twilight Program is rapidly evolving to increasingly meet the needs of our students.
GRADE POINT AVERAGE RECOVERY: Students who have received a D or F in a class that fulfills the A-G requirements for college take these classes. Students must get a referral from their high school for these classes. Classes for Grade Point Average recovery are open to students from the comprehensive high schools within Pasadena Unified School District only.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA: Adult students who have not receive a high school diploma take classes to finish the requirements for their high school diploma. Besides the PUSD diploma that requires 220 units, a 170 unit diploma is also offered, granted that specific course requirements are met.
CAREER EXPLORATIONS OPPORTUNITIES PATHWAY/
GENERAL EDUCATION DIPLOMA (G.E.D.): Students will take classes to prepare for taking and passing the test(s) for the General Education Diploma. The G.E.D. test is offered at Rose City High School in the Twilight Program.
