Providing fresh local milk and dairy products to PUSD students for over a decade!

Gold Star Foods is our primary distributer for bread and produce.  Through their innovative programs, we have been able to source locally made bread products made with CA grown and milled wheat.  They also assist us in sourcing the large volume of fresh fruits and vegetables we serve each day in our PUSD schools.

PUSD has more than 17 active school gardens -- and growing. School gardens help build healthy eating and fitness habits early in life and serve as outdoor classrooms.  Elementary school programs are infused with a K-5 farm-to-school curriculum, which includes the fundamentals of growing a garden and preparing healthy recipes using produce from the garden.

We are proud to feature fresh vegetables from PUSD School Gardens in our lunches up to six times a year!
