About the District Advisory Council
-
The Disrict Advisory Committee or DAC is comprised of parents, staff, and community leaders and consults with the Board of Education and district staff on matters related to state and federal funding, programs, and compliance issues. Each school in the district designates a School Site Council member and an alternate to attend monthly meetings and share information. Activities include providing input on and reviewing the district’s Local Educational Agency Plan, and reviewing and revising as needed the district Title I Parent Involvement Policy, and district initiatives.
Meetings are generally held the first Mondays of the month in the Elbie J. Hickambottom Board Room, 351 S. Hudson Ave., Pasadena
