The specialized team of the Office of Family & Community Engagement is charged with developing the capacity of the district and its schools to establish and sustain an infrastructure that supports family and community engagement in student achievement and school improvement.

Our team works to deliver initiatives designed to assist schools to provide a welcoming environment that engages families and the community in helping students excel in school, college and careers in the 21st century.

The Office of Family & Community Engagement is part of PUSD's School Support Services Division. Services are aligned to the district's family engagement priorities.

Local Control Accountability Plan Goal 4 :  Parents and guardians feel welcomed at their school, have effective two-way communication and are provided with the knowledge and skills to successfully support and advocate for their child.
