My name is Carolyn Halpern. I am a 2nd grade teacher at SME. I began teaching in 1998. I joined the faculty at SME in 2001.
I love to shop at estate sales to find things for my mid century modern house.
I am on the California Science Teachers Association lead committee to head the CSTA 2016 State Conference in Palm Springs.
My favorite part about teaching at SME? Being able to have the freedom to bring in science into all areas of study everyday.
