How to Volunteer On Campus

  • Parents & Adults

PUSD requires that all volunteers working in a classroom more than 8 hours a week have a current  TB test on file in the main office or PUSD Family Resource Center (dated within 12 months for new volunteers, good for 4 years).  The PUSD Clinic offers free TB screenings on Mon., Wed., Fri. 8am - 9am & 2pm-4pm.  Located at 351 S. Hudson Ave., Rm 130, Pasadena, CA 91109.

There is a fingerprint/background check requirement for certain volunteer positions.  Volunteer paperwork must be filled out and submitted to Jessica Nava (Office Manager). See below for required documents.

    How to be a Volunteer:

    1. Contact Jessica Nava and ensure that there is a volunteer assignment available.
    2. Complete the volunteer application and meet child health & safety requirements
    3. Complete volunteer orientation.
