Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The Jackson PTA is an integral part of the Jackson family. Not only do we host fun community events during the school year, but we also provide funds for our teachers, staff, and students. We have multiple small fundraisers throughout the school year. the funds we raise from these events help fund our Teacher's Wish Lists, STEM activities, School Assemblies, School Resources, and so much more.
All of this takes the hard work and dedication of our community members. Each one of us has different skills, talents, and resources that are desperately needed to make Jackson what it is. For some it is volunteering in our classrooms. For others, it is heading up or joining a committee that brings something special to our students. We all want the very best education and experience for our children, and that is why we must all individually do whatever we can to make it happen. We expect our community to come together and support our great school in any way possible. Even 1 hour of time is worth so much. Please get involved and meet your Jackson community. You will not regret it!
A membership fee of $8 is required to be a voting member of the PTA, however, we encourage all parents to join us whether you are an official member or not. Our goal is to build a connected and supportive community where everyone has a voice.
