    • The schools of the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) enroll more than 17,000 students in Transitional Kindergarten-12th grade in a 76-square mile area that includes Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

      PUSD offers high-quality educational choices for all students. We urge you to visit your school of residence and discover the possibilities available close to home.     here.

Attend Pasadena Unified

  • Enroll in your neighborhood school or apply to a specialized program!

    There are two ways to attend:

    Enroll in your neighborhood school
    Find your school of residence and complete Online Registration for 2021-2022 here.  Parents are encouraged to register at their school of residence for 2021-2022 by March 5, 2021. 

    Apply through Open Enrollment/School Choice
    Apply to signature programs such as Dual Immersion, Magnets, International Baccalaureate, College & Career Academies, and more!   Open Enrollment applications are accepted beginning in January each year. There are several phases in Open Enrollment. Visit www.pusd.us/openenrollment for details.

    An application is not required if you are planning to attend your neighborhood school.
