    QUARANTINE/ ISOLATION

We are maintaining our health guidelines regarding quarantine and isolation timelines until further notice.

Again, we urge parents/guardians to keep students home if they are experiencing any symptoms. A negative test is not a requirement for in-person instruction, but being free of symptoms is necessary.

People who have been in close contact with someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19 while that person was infectious are required to quarantine themselves.

You must stay in quarantine away from others. You may discontinue self-quarantine under these K12 Guidelines:

Anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 is required to isolate themselves and follow these K12 Guidelines:

    MASKS

All students and staff are required to wear masks indoors and wear masks outdoors if you cannot maintain 6 feet of distance. Employees will be required to wear surgical masks which will be available at all school sites. It is now recommended that students use non-cloth masks with a nose wire and/or surgical masks. Cloth masks may also be worn over surgical masks. PUSD schools will have surgical masks available for students who don’t have one. No matter what kind of mask you wear, opt for one with three or more cloth layers and check the fit by avoiding gaps above the nose or on the sides. CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings
